I've been following the orkut fortune quite closely for sometime and surprisingly I find it right a lot of times!! (though it is even fundamentally wrong many times)
Today's fortune says:
Your winsome smile will be your sure protection
Though it sounds good, I'm now wondering how a smile can protect you...Hmm...

May be one of ur comments wud have made some one angry but seeing ur smile, their anger wud have subsided.
I am sure that Orkut fortune's are being posted by an actual person. Recently I created several communities on Orkut just for the heck of it and now my fortune says "You will be recognized and honored as a community leader." Too much of a coincidence. You have a good smile too so your fortune was no coincidence!!
I have no doubt the Orkut admins are posting the fortunes. There is even a profile on Orkut (http://www.orkut.co.in/FullProfile.aspx?uid=6858603457584695327) who gives her job description as Orkut's "today's fortune" writer.
